Our number 9, the brilliant Roberto “Bobby” Firmino joined Liverpool FC in the summer of 2015 from Hoffenheim in Germany. He has since gone on to become one of Liverpool’s most influential players making endless assists, scoring goals and establishing himself as a vital cog in Liverpool’s free wheeled goal machine front three.
Firmino is a very unique and rare talent, a huge work rate, never being off the press, a real footballing selflessness, with bags of skill and guile to go along with it. He is absolutely fundamental to Liverpool’s game and has signed a new long-term contract in 2018 – so a lot to look forward to in the future.
