No. 15 Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Name: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Number: 15

Position: Midfielder

Born: Portsmouth, England – 15/08/93

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain joined Liverpool from Arsenal in the summer transfer window of 2017. “The OX” would have to wait some time before he would be integrated into Klopp’s team and would not make his debut until 2 or 3 months into the season. He would start quite well for Liverpool putting in some big performances from midfield and looked a much better player than the one at Arsenal scoring some very important goals including two big strikes against rivals Manchester city, one in the Premier League and one in the Champions League.

Unfortunately Oxlade-Chamberlain’s impressive start would be cut short by an horrific injury against Roma in the Champions League semi final – the knee injury would rule him out for a full year.

Chamberlain has since returned to the side and has started to show some promise with a couple of goals against Genk in a Champions League group game – one of those strikes being an absolute worldie. Liverpool will be hoping The OX can stay fit now and provide some much needed goals from midfield.
