Liverpool interested in Wolves forward

According to a recent tweet by journalist Paul Joyce, Liverpool are interested in Wolves forward Diogo Jota. Joyce is briefed directly by the club so this one may have some legs!

Jota is seen as a possible alternative to Watford’s Ismail Sarr, although he could be a more expensive one.

He was left out of Wolves’ Carabao Cup match squad on Thursday sparking questions from the media in the post match press conference regarding his future. With his manager, Nuno Espirito Santo, not giving an exact reason as to why he left him out.

Jota was on the bench for Wolves’ first premier league game of the season on Monday and Espirito Santo said he does not know whether he will make the match day squad in their upcoming clash with Manchester City.

This could be on and would be a class addition to the Liverpool squad. Jota is quality as can be seen from the video below.
