Liverpool FC have moved ahead of bitter rivals Manchester United in the TV viewing figures.
A report in the Liverpool Echo, citing figures from the Broadcasters Audience Research Board shows Liverpool passing out Man Utd with around 1.66 million viewers on average tuning in to Liverpool games in the UK. That’s around 140k more than the average watching United games, about 1.52 million.
Another clear sign that success breeds success and that Liverpool were indeed the massive sleeping giant the fans knew they were. Awoken now and just 5 Premier League wins away from becoming reigning world, European and English Champions. The first of those games, hopefully, being West Ham at Anfield on Monday night.
