Andy Robertson signed for Liverpool in the summer of 2017 from Hull City, for what now looks like an absolute bargain £8m. Amazingly Robertson was playing for Glasgow minnows Queen’s Park just 4 years earlier in 2013.
Robertson moved from Glasgow to sign for Dundee United later in 2013 before signing for Hull City in 2014 gaining Premier League experience before Klopp came calling in 2017.
Over the last 2 years or so Robertson has established himself as one of the best left backs around. Winning the Champions League with Liverpool and becoming captain of his national side, Scotland.
Robertson managed 13 assists during the 18/19 campaign and cemented himself as one of Liverpool’s first names on the team sheet, earning a new long term contract with the Redmen.
