Veteran Goalkeeper Adrian joined Liverpool in the summer of 2019 as cover for number 1 Alisson. He spent 6 years in the Premier League with West Ham Utd before joining the Redmen as a free agent.
Of course the season would start and Alisson would pick up an injury. Adrian would be thrown into the side and become an instant cult hero when he saved the penalty that would see the Redmen lift the European Super Cup against Chelsea.
He went on to play very well in a total of 8 games before stepping aside as a very able backup to the returning Alisson against Manchester United.
